§ Mr. David Clarkasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will now ratify the European Convention for the Protection of Animals during international transport.
§ Mrs. FennerPriority is being given to preparation of the subordinate legislation necessary to enable us to ratify this convention. This is likely to be most effective if all members of EEC ratify the convention simultaneously and that possibility is under consideration.
