§ Sir K. JosephFrom time to time, I have received letters from doctors and dentists, some direct and some forwarded by hon. Members, seeking to vary the conditions of their options. The Joint Superannuation Consultative Committee for the National Health Service has recently considered the position of optants generally as part of its comprehensive review of superannuation provisions for persons engaged in the National Health Service. I expect to receive the Committee's report, containing recommendations, very shortly.
