Mr. Judd

asked the Minister for the Civil Service what is the current salary of the head of the Home Civil Service, and what is the total size of his salary increases in each of the past five years.

The current salary of the head of the Home Civil Service is £16,750 per annum.

The table below shows the changes in the salary of the head of the Home Civil Service since 1st September 1965:
