(2) whether he will make a statement indicating his decision on the proposal of the Manchester Regional Hospital Board to close the Manchester Ear Hospital.
§ Mr. AlisonMy Department recently received the Manchester Regional Hospital Board's recommendation, following local consultations, that the Manchester Ear Hospital should be closed. The board's proposal is under consideration, and my right hon. Friend hopes to make a decision shortly.
