§ Mr. Anthony StodartThis French system for controlling the quality and origin of wines operates in circumstances which differ greatly from those of the United Kingdom, where very little wine is produced. A Community regulation on the description and presentation of wine is currently under discussion, and when agreed will have effect in the United Kingdom.
