§ Sir G. HoweThe working party which has been set up by the GATT Council to report on enlargement of the EEC is still examining the general trade effects. Bilateral negotiations between the EEC and third countries with claims to compensation under the GATT rules arising from enlargement are due to begin on 12th March.
