Member refers, advice by my Department is directed towards avoiding unnecessary exposure to airborne dust by seeking to control it at source. This is a factor which my Department's officials have in mind when technical guidance is given in matters such as the design of farm machinery and buildings and the installation of dust extraction equipment.
