§ Mr. NottApproximately 414 million normal circulation coins in 54 denominations were produced at the Royal Mint, Llantrisant from 1st January to 31 May 1973. The proportion of rejects was 0.9 per cent. During the same period only 415,000 circulation coins in two denominations were struck at Tower Hill, where the reject rate was 0.08 per cent.
