§ Mr. Carter-Jonesasked the Secretary of State for Home Affairs, in view of the lack of recreational facilities for children in deprived areas, if he will increase the money available under the urban aid programme.
§ Mr. LaneRecreational facilities were among the projects funded from additional expenditure of £1.8 million approved under the urban programme last year. My right hon. Friend expects to approve more projects of this kind under the current phase of the programme, for which applications are due by 2nd July.
