§ Mr. David Steelasked the Secretary of State for Scotland (1) whether he will consider dealing with the capital investment necessary for the Tweedbank Primary School as a special case to be funded in addition to the recently announced allocation for school buildings in Roxburgh during 1974–75;
(2) whether he will consider making capital available to Roxburgh County Council as part of its capital investment programme in 1974–75 to enable it to carry out its programme in such projects as Yetholim Primary School replacement, St. Boswell's Primary School extension, Jedburgh Howden Bush Primary School phase 2 and Keko New Primary School.
§ Mr. Gordon CampbellRoxburgh Education Authority has asked for a meeting with my Department on these matters and before considering them I should like to have the authority's views.
§ Mr. David Steelasked the Secretary of State for Scotland whether he will consider making extra capital available to county education authorities to enable them to undertake permanent projects in special cases where they would otherwise be forced to resort to building temporary accommodation.
