§ Mr. Deakinsasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if Her Majesty's Government regard the system of export restitutions as a basic principle of the EEC common agricultural policy and therefore not to be considered at the forthcoming review of the CAP.
§ Mr. GodberThe basic principles of the common agricultural policy relate to free trade within a common market, community preference and community financing of common actions. Export restitutions are part of the mechanism of the CAP.
