§ Mr. Michael HeseltineThe Government have no proposals for establishing a central Scottish airport. Although the possibility has been considered on a number of occasions, particularly with a view to replacing the existing airports at Edinburgh, Glasgow and Prestwick, no feasible site has been found which could be developed economically.
