§ Sir G. HoweThe current talks with the TUC and CBI are exploring a wide range of subjects relevant to the overall objectives of the counter-inflation programme. We are not, at present, considering the specific revision of the code. When we do, we will consult the Retail Trade Consortium and all other interested parties, as required under the Counter-Inflation Act 1973.
