§ Mr. EmeryBritish Gas is world leader in the technology of producing substitute natural gas, and there is already limited manufacturing capacity248W in operation for the further development of these techniques, which could be expanded if and when necessary. No specific proposals to construct new production plants have, however, been put to me.
