HL Deb 25 June 1973 vol 343 c1832WA
LORD AVEBURY

asked Her Majesty's Government:

What discussions they have had with the International Air Transport Association about the responsibility of airlines who return passengers to the airport of origin when the carrier which brought them to their destination was acting as an agent for some other airline under pooling agreement; and whether they will make a statement.

THE MINISTER WITHOUT PORTFOLIO (LORD DRUMALBYN)

It is not for Her Majesty's Government to hold discussions with IATA about inter-airline regulations which govern return travel arrangements for inadmissible passengers and deportees.
