§ Mr. Dudley SmithThe issue of giro-cheques is spread over a number of days in the week. Most are posted to applicants during the three days Tuesday to Thursday, leaving a small proportion to be sent out early on Friday. These arrangements appear generally to be working satisfactorily. If the hon. Member has had specific cases of difficulty drawn to his attention, I shall be pleased to look into them.
