§ Mr. HigginsShipbuilders' relief was introduced by Section 2 of the Finance Act 1966 and came into force on 12th September 1966. Payments by Customs and Excise to shipbuilders operating on398W Clydeside in respect of ships delivered Value Added Tax after that date are as follows:
