§ Sir J. Langford-Holtasked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry, as the shortage of newsprint in the United Kingdom and the breakdown of the rationing system operated by the Newspaper Publishers Association will result 419W in no newsprint being made available to some smaller publishing companies by the end of August, and this will cause unemployment, if he will now review the voluntary rationing system.
§ Mr. Anthony GrantAs I indicated in my reply to the hon. Member for Newark (Mr. Bishop) on 11th June, my information is that the arrangements made by the newspaper industry are working satisfactory.
