§ Mr. Fauldsasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if she will take steps for the national acquisition of the Old Hall manuscript containing settings of the Mass and Motets used by the Chapel Royal in the early fifteenth century.
§ Mr. St. John-StevasIt is for public collections to consider whether they wish to acquire this manuscript, which cannot be exported without an export licence. If an application for a special purchase grant is received it will be considered.
