§ Mr. HigginsI received a deputation on this subject on 22nd May. The delivery of coal, if charged for separately from the coal itself, is a service chargeable with VAT at the standard rate.
§ Mr. Fauldsasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer on what date the Financial 306W Secretary replied to the Chairman of the Standing Commission on Museums and Galleries regarding value added tax on purchases by museums and galleries; and whether he will publish the contents of his letter.
