§ Mr. Graham PageThe committee was appointed in August 1972 to prepare a code of practice for the organisation and conduct of pop festivals. The report which the committee has now submitted to my right hon. and learned Friend sets out a code which seems in general to be fair and practical and which should prove to be of great value to anyone who is involved with a pop festival.
Arrangements have been put in hand for the publication of the report by HMSO. Copies of the text of the report will shortly be available for the guidance of anyone who intends to organise a pop festival this year and copies will also be placed in the Libraries of both Houses.
