§ Mr. St. John-StevasBy the end of last week 140 local education authorities in England had submitted proposals for capital programmes, at 1972 prices, of about £22 million in 1974–75 and about £22 million in 1975–76. They were not asked for details of individual projects. The remaining six authorities have been asked to submit their proposals as soon as possible and my right hon. Friend hopes to announce allocations for both years before the end of the summer.
