HL Deb 05 June 1973 vol 343 c96WA
LORD MAYBRAY-KING

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they will re-publish the figures for tests of reading ability in the same form as those given by the Secretary of State for Education and Science in the other place on June 3, 1964, but adding the figures for similar tests conducted on behalf of the Minister in 1970—the results for 1961 being amended as in Column B of the Minister's predecessor's letter to Sir James Pitman of April 5, 1967.

THE PARLIAMENTARY UNDERSECRETARY OF STATE, NORTHERN IRELAND OFFICE (LORD BELSTEAD)

I would refer the noble Lord to the Answer given in another place to the honourable Member for Liverpool, Wavertree, on April 18, 1972, which is to be found in the OFFICIAL REPORT, Commons, columns 71 and 72.

House adjourned at five minutes past seven o'clock.
