§ Mr. RipponYes. The consultation paper which my right hon. and learned Friend the Secretary of State for Wales and I issued last March has been well received and we have now decided to adopt the proposed procedure for public participation, with some modifications, as a regular stage in trunk road planning. Copies of an announcement which analyses the results of the consultation and sets out the new procedure in detail are available in the Library.
