HC Deb 24 July 1973 vol 860 c526W
Mr. Alfred Morris

asked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if she will make a statement on the reasons why Professor E. J. Field, of the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, has been relieved of his position as Honorary Director of the Medical Research Council's Demyelinating Diseases Unit; and what provision she is making for continuing the work of this the only unit specifically and solely devoted to the study of multiple sclerosis.

Mrs. Thatcher

I will write to the hon. Member.
