HC Deb 24 July 1973 vol 860 c363W
Sir Gilbert Longden

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what progress is being made in the investigation into land hoarding in Hertfordshire; and what answer he has given to the letter dated 13th July from the clerk to the county council on this subject.

Mr. Graham Page

I understand that the county planning committee's own survey has found no evidence that housing land is being hoarded on any significant scale. The Department has agreed to give such help as it can towards the resolution of technical and other problems holding up the development of the particular sites listed in the clerk's letter.
