§ Mr. Eadie
asked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry what have been the percentage gas domestic sales and 385W industrial gas sales since 1967 to the nearest available date.

§ Mr. Peter Emery
Domestic and industrial gas sales, as recorded in the last Annual Report of the Gas Council, represented the following percentages of total therms sold:

Domestic Per cent. Industrial Per cent.

1967–68 63.2 21.8

1968–69 64.6 20.9

1969–70 64.2 22.1

1970–71 59.6 27.8

1971–72 50.6 38.4

"Commercial and public administration" sales accounted for the balance.
