asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what are the latest amounts received from and paid to the EEC since accession.

Total payments to the EEC at the end of 19th July were £88,567,571. Total receipts at the same date were £18,117,818. However, the timing of payments differs from the timing of receipts, the latter, depending on claims made, being paid in arrear.
