§ Sir K. JosephDuring 1972 price increases on some medicines supplied to the National Health Service in the United Kingdom were agreed to an estimated value of £2–6 million a year. Price reductions made on other medicines were estimated to have a value of £1–4 million a year. These estimates exclude the remuneration of pharmacists.
