§ Mr. Graham PageRepresentations have been made to me that demolition should be brought under full planning control and we are ready to consult interested representative bodies concerning such a change. The Town and Country Planning (Amendment) Act 1972 already enables control over demolition to be exercised by a local planning authority in a conservation area.
