§ Mr. Leadbitterasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what is his latest estimate of Great Britain's contribution to the Common Agricultural Fund for the first full year of EEC membership.
§ Mr. Patrick JenkinOn the basis of the original community budget for 1973 the United Kingdom's net contribution to the FEOGA Guarantee and Guidance Section's expenditure was estimated at about £70 million. The supplementary budget approved yesterday by the Council of Ministers will give rise to an increase in the United Kingdom's gross contribution of about £30 million on account of the FEOGA guarantee section but there will be offsetting United Kingdom receipts, notably from FEOGA expenditure on butter subsidies and monetary compensatory amounts.
