§ Mr. Anthony StodartAction taken since this Government came into office is encouraging a rapid increase in the beef breeding herd. Further impetus will be given by the introduction of permanent intervention measures to give producers confidence in the future and by the introduction of grants to encourage dairy farmers to switch to beef production.
