Mr. Guy Barnett

asked the Secretary of State for Employment (1) if he will analyse applications and approvals for training in the entertainment industry under the Training Opportunities Scheme, stating for what skills individuals have applied for training, the number involved for each skill and the number which have had his approval:

  1. (2) how many applications have so far been received for training under the Training Opportunities Scheme; and how many of these applications have so far been approved by his Department;
  2. (3) how many applications for training under the Training Opportunities Scheme have been received and how many approved for training in the entertainment industry.
