§ Mr. Proudfootasked the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications what change there has been in the number of accidents to Post Office telephone vehicles since they were painted yellow.
§ Sir J. EdenAccident rates are influenced by many factors and it is not possible to measure the effect of any particular one. However, the Post Office tells me that there were 10 per cent. fewer accidents per million miles in the 12 months ended December 1972 compared with the same period immediately before the change in colour was introduced.
