asked the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications if he will give a general direction to the Post Office to inquire into the increasing use of plastic instead of metal in certain working components of telephones, and assess the saving in original cost against the expenses of increased calls for service and the quicker deterioration of plastic against metal.
