HC Deb 18 July 1973 vol 860 c149W
Mr. Evelyn King

asked the Minister of State for Defence, in view of the importance, in the context of the saving of casualties, of the use of civil cars by the military in Ulster, if he will increase their issue so that there is at least one per company; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Blaker

I am satisfied that the Army has sufficient civilian cars in Northern Ireland to meet its present needs, although their use does not necessarily help to prevent casualties.
