§ Mr. Alfred Morrisasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what action he is taking to encourage other police authorities to adopt the Hampshire housing scheme for police officers; what assessment he has made of this scheme; what consultation his Department has had with police organisations on this matter; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. CarlisleAt the meeting of the Police Advisory Board on 27th June it was decided that the board's working party on housing should be reconvened to study police authority housing schemes, including the Hampshire scheme. The working party will in due course report back to the board, on which all the police organisations are represented.
