§ Mrs. FennerThe guide prices for cattle for the 1973–74 marketing year are £16–43 per live cwt. in the United Kingdom and the Irish Republic and £20–23 per live cwt. in the remainder of the Community.
No intervention buying of beef has taken place and no intervention prices have yet been set in the Community for 100W the current marketing year. My right hon. Friend hopes to be able to announce the prices shortly when they have been agreed. Overall they will be at about 93 per cent. of the relevant guide price.
