§ Mr. St. John-StevasApproximately 120,000 full-time students from the United Kingdom were enrolled in courses in initial teacher training as at October 1972; firm figures are not yet available. The totals for the previous three years were 112,700 in 1969, 115,600 in 1970 and 118,300 in 1971.
