§ Mr. Eadieasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what money the Government will make available to local authorities as a consequence of their becoming involved in additional expenditure in the reorganisation of local government—for example, overtime of employees and officials.
§ Mr. Gordon CampbellThe additional staff and other costs arising in 1974–75 from the reorganisation of local government will be estimated later this year and will be taken into account in redetermining the amount of the rate support grant for that year.
