Since the introduction of the Training Opportunities Scheme in August last year there has been a rapid increase in the number of women taking training courses under Government auspices. In March this year, 5,444 women were taking such courses, compared with 2,405 in March 1972. Over one-quarter of all trainees under the Training Opportunities
