Mr. Carter-Jones

asked the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry if he will make a statement on his policy regarding the conservation of energy resources in the United Kingdom and the world.

Mr. Tom Boardman

The Government are continuing to study the possibilities for furthering the conservation of energy resources, but I have no statement to make at present.
