Mr. Greville Janner

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment how many children under 12 and 16 years of age, respectively, were killed, and how many injured, while riding bicycles on the roads in each of the last five years for which records are available; and how many and what percentage of such deaths and injuries were suffered by children riding bicycles of the so-called "chopper" variety.
