asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what view the Government take on the draft directives (COM (73) 415 final) for the harmonisation of the laws of Common Market countries relating to aerosols.

Mr. Lane

This directive is not necessarily in its final form, but the Government are in general agreement with its aim of enabling aerosols made in accordance with its requirements to be sold freely within the Community.
