§ Mr. St. John-StevasMy right hon. Friend received an official request from the St. Helens education authority in 189W November 1972 for a minor building project at the Moss Bank School. The usual inquiries about need and costs were made of the authority and Her Majesty's Inspectorate. My right hon. Friend was not able to approve the project for the 1973–74 financial year in view of more urgent needs elsewhere, but she has undertaken to consider the project again in January 1974.
