§ 35. Mr. McCrindleasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what discussion he has had with the Building Societies Association in regard to the rate of interest likely to be charged to borrowers after 1st August.
§ 38. Mr. Ridleyasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will make a statement about the outcome of his talks with the building societies on fixing a new mortgage rate.
§ Mr. BarberI had a meeting on 25th June with representatives of the Building Societies Association to review the progress made in the continuing discussions between Government Departments and the association.
