§ Mr. Sutcliffeasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what steps he has taken to see that hospital authorities systematically liaise with appropriate voluntary organisations to ensure that information about visitors who need help 207W in making the journey to and from hospital is assembled and made known to these organisations.
§ Mr. AlisonMy right hon. Friend asked hospital authorities, in a circular issued in May, to set up such a liaison with voluntary organisations. My Department would be very willing to inquire into any instances where this does not appear to have been arranged.
