HC Deb 04 July 1973 vol 859 c111W
43. Mr. Adley

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment what discussions are taking place between his Department and interested parties on the possible effect of a world oil shortage, on the formulation of transport policies for the United Kingdom, bearing in mind current developments in the United States of America.

Mr. Peyton

The implications of a possible world oil shortage are amongst the more important considerations in any current discussions on transport policy.
