§ Mr. Fryasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will publish salary scales for the new top posts in the reorganised National Health Service, including that for a community physician and also those for consultants and other medical practitioners employed in hospitals.
§ Sir K. JosephProvisional salaries for the chief administrative, finance, and nursing posts in the reorganised health service were set out in my reply to the hon. Member for Willesden, West (Mr. Pavitt) on 25th June. Medical and dental salaries, including those for community medicine, are considered by the Doctors' and Dentists' Review Body. I expect the review body's recommendations for salaries effective from April this year to be published shortly.
