Members who have no copying machine at home during the Recess; and whether he will make it the practice of his Administration that Ministers should ensure that their replies to hon. Members have a copy attached.

§ Mrs. Renée Shortasked the Prime Minister how long hon. Members usually 402W have to wait before receiving replies from him; and when the hon. Member for Wolverhampton, North-East can expect to receive his reply to her letter dated 9th January about the delay of 10 months since the publication of the Expenditure Committee Report on Private Practice in National Health Service hospitals and to which no response by the Secretary of State for Social Services has yet been received.
§ The Prime MinisterI normally aim to reply to hon. Members within two weeks. As regards the letter to which the hon. Lady refers, my right hon. Friend the Lord President of the Council expects to reply on my behalf within the next few days.
